May 07: 8In 2015, the Government of India had directed that all fertilizer urea manufactured in the country or imported will have to be coated with neem oil at the rate of 0.5 kg per tonne.
8Studies have claimed that India is a neem-rich nation, and new initiative will provide huge employment to neem fruit collectors around the country as well as prevent subsidized urea’s illegal diversion to industrial sector.
