8He has wide experience, and has been working with the Aditya Birla Group since the 1980s
8The earlier CEO left without making much of an imprint. There was talk during his tenure of the company\'s fertilizer plant to be sold but those plans were eventually shelved.

The new CEO is Sunil Kunwal, an old and trusted Aditya Birla hand. He was earlier the CEO Birla White (UltraTech Cement) at Aditya Birla Group. Before that he was the MD and CEO of Aditya Birla Minerals Limited
Usually, the Aditya Birla Group CEOs maintain a low profile, but Kulwal is known as a hands-on executive who wants to stay rooted to the ground
He replaces Rahul Kohli, who retired on July 31, 2019
