NFL profit jumps 66% in first quarter Q1 2018-19
Aug 13: National Fertilizers Limited (NFL) has posted a 66% jump in Profit before Tax at Rs. 65.91 Crore in the first quarter ended June 30, on the back of higher contribution from traded activities.
8The total revenue of the company increased by 15.5% to Rs. 2167 Crore during April - June quarter of 2018-19.
8The Profit after Tax of the company also showed an improvement of 59% at Rs. 41.22 Crore.
8The company also saved significantly on account of energy consumption in plants and earned better from the sale of industrial products during the quarter.
8NFL has taken several new initiatives in the last three years which helped the company in improving it's physical and financial performance.
8The company has improved its urea production over the years and has added many new products in its profile to maintain new levels.
8The paradigm shift in business strategy of NFL is helping the company to sustain its growth, NFL Chairman and Managing Director Manoj Mishra said in a statement, The fertilizer major is operating five urea plants in the country and is marketing almost all types of fertilizers, seeds, agrochemicals and industrial products.
