NTPC pitches for long term LNG contract: Lessons here for the fertilizer industry

Fertilizer companies buying LNG directly for their non-urea manufacturing can derive some lessons from the deal struck by a gas supplier for flexible yet long-term supply of LNG with NTPC.
8NTPC has figured that its gas-based power stations can do with some long-term RLNG supplies to take care of times when demand for power surges ahead.
8Gas generation units are capable of quick ramp-up when there is an urgent demand for power during peak season.
