The department of fertilizer estimate a reduction of 20 lakh tonnes by 2018-19 in project demand for urea because of lesser divergence and increase effectiveness.
8Sources of Department of Fertilizer (DOF) said that due to using of 100% Neem Coating of Urea Diversion of highly subsidized urea towards non-agricultural purposes negligible among farmers after the introduction of the mandatory policy of production and distribution of the only Neem coated urea.
