Oct 05: In order to save energy and to bring the yearly average to 5.50 Gcal/MT of Urea,  a fertilizer major has identified the conversion of Steam Turbine Drives to Motor drives for two of the CO2 Compressors.
8The expected energy saving due to driving conversion is about 0.10 Gcal/MT of Urea.
